Privacy policy
Last updated: October 3, 2026
This policy explains what information Eternitech collects through eterni.tech, why, and what you can ask us to do with it. We’ve kept it in plain English. If anything is unclear, email [email protected].
Who we are
Eternitech is a website design and development studio at 18 King Street East, Suite 1400, Toronto, Ontario M5C 1C4, Canada. We are responsible for the personal information described here.
What we collect
- What you send us. When you use a form (the project planner, a contact form, a healthcare enquiry or a website-check follow-up) we receive what you type: usually your name, email, and optionally phone, company or practice name, website address and project details.
- Bookings. If you book a call, scheduling is handled by Cal.com, which receives the details you enter there.
- Website check. When you run the free check, our server fetches the public page you enter. We keep the result for six hours so repeat checks are fast. We don’t ask for, or store, anything else about you for this.
- Analytics. We use Google Analytics 4 to understand which pages are useful. It’s configured with IP anonymisation, without Google signals or ad personalisation, and it does not load at all if your browser sends a Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track signal.
- Security logs. Our host and Cloudflare keep standard request logs (IP address, browser, time) to protect the site from abuse. Our own security log stores IP addresses only as salted hashes.
- Your browser. We store two small things in your browser, never sent to us on their own: whether you paused animations (local storage), and the page and campaign that brought you here (session storage, cleared when you close the tab), which is attached to a form only if you submit one.
Please don’t send health information
We build websites for healthcare practices, but this website is not a place for patient information. Please don’t include personal health information in our forms. If you’re a patient looking for one of our clients, contact their practice directly.
How we use it
To reply to you, prepare quotes, deliver work you’ve hired us for, keep the website secure, and understand which pages help people. We don’t sell, rent or trade personal information, and we don’t use it for advertising profiles.
Who else handles it
A small number of service providers process information on our behalf: Hetzner (hosting, Germany), Cloudflare (security and content delivery), Google (analytics), our email providers (Zoho and Brevo) and Cal.com (scheduling). Each only receives what it needs to do its job. Some of these providers store data outside Canada, including in the United States and the European Union.
How long we keep it
- Enquiries: up to 24 months, unless you become a client (then for as long as we work together, plus what tax and contract law requires).
- Analytics: 14 months.
- Security logs: up to 180 days.
Your choices and rights
You can ask us to show you, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you, or withdraw consent to future contact, by emailing [email protected]. We’ll answer within 30 days. Residents of Canada can also contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada. Residents of US states with privacy laws (such as California, Colorado or Virginia) have similar rights, and we honor them the same way for everyone.
Cookies
The only cookies set for visitors are Google Analytics cookies (_ga and _ga_*), and only when analytics is allowed to load. There are no advertising cookies. Signed-in administrators also get WordPress’s own login cookies.
Children
This website is for businesses and isn’t directed at children under 16.
Changes
If we change this policy we’ll update the date at the top. Significant changes will be called out on this page.
